Preparing for a Storm in Queensland
Storms can happen any time of the year. They can produce hailstones the size of a $2 coin, wind gusts greater than 90km/h and flash flooding. Unfortunately, they can cause damage to your community, your family and to you as an individual. In particular, South East Queensland experiences the most damaging individual storms anywhere in Australia. So for some Queenslanders, it’s not so much a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’. The better prepared you are, the safer you will be.
