The people of Australia have spoken and Arnott’s have listened. The Original Flavour Pizza Shapes are retuning to our shelves and order will once again be restored in households nationwide.

When Arnott’s recently decided to go ahead and change the recipe of their much-loved Pizza Shape biscuits all hell broke loose. I mean you do not mess with an Aussie favourite- an Aussie staple in fact- and expect people to sit around and do nothing!

Fans of the artificially flavoured snack sized biscuits took to social media in droves to protest against what they said was a ‘completely disgusting flavour!’ Over 28,000 people signed a petition to bring back the original formula and it worked you guys!!

As of next month the Original Pizza Shapes alongside other OG faves Barbecue and Crimpy Chicken, as well as Savoury (which apparently never actually endured the update) will hit our stores once again! OG Barbecue and Pizza will be back in multipacks too.

Here’s what the iconic Arnott’s had to say about their wise decision:

“Since the launch of the New Shapes flavours, we’ve been listening to feedback. Aussies have clearly shown us the love they have for Original Pizza Shapes and we’re happy to announce the product will be returning to shelves over the coming weeks.

We’ve been humbled by Australia’s passion for Shapes and would like to thank our fans for their patience. We hope to now have the best Shapes range for Shapes-lovers old and new.”
