Charity Shop Reaches Out on Social Media to Find Couple to Return Their Travel Photos
A Salvo’s Op shop in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, is using the power of social media to help return a camera to a couple that looks as though they’ve been on holiday in recent years. It seems the camera fell into the hands of a volunteer who is also a fellow photographer and traveller that can no doubt empathise with the couple’s loss.
The Facebook page of the Salvo Access Thrift Shop has shared a photo of the couple along with this description:
A camera was found amongst some recent donations to our Thrift Shop with a large number of photos from an overseas trip from November 2013 to January 2014. If anybody knows this couple, please ask them to contact Major Robert Evans at the Cranbourne Salvation Army. As a keen photographer and traveller, I would hate to think someone has inadvertently lost such wonderful memories.
They are hoping through the awesome power of social media someone will know who the couple is and direct them back to the op shop.
