Couple With 13 Sons Are Trying Their Luck Again Hoping For A Girl!
A Michigan couple are expecting their 14th child in April and are desperately hoping its a girl.
Kateri Schwandt, who has already given birth to 13 sons, says her and husband Jay wanted to try their luck just one more time. And while they are eager for a girl they’ve decided to not find out the sex of the baby and instead will wait until the birth.
Jay says his wife has always wanted a large family as she too has 13 brothers and sisters. And while many are concerned about how they will be able to financially support such a large family, Kateri says they will be just fine!
“If you have three, it’s the same as having 10 at this point, if you ask me,” Kateri Schwandt said. “It’s just more chaos, more noise. It’s nothing we’re not used to at this point.”
“I would love to have a girl, but I just don’t think it’s in the cards,” Jay Schwandt said.
The dad of 13 added that this will likely be their last child. “It just feels like this is going to be it, and we’re going to enjoy every second of it,” he said.
Problem is, that’s what the couple thought with pregnancy number 13! The couple said it’s hard to imagine their home without a baby in it.
