Couple Left Shocked as Wedding Celebrant Goes Completely Rogue With Bizarre Musical Outburst

Weddings are generally intricately planned and scheduled down to the minute. It’s the only way to ensure your day turns out exactly the way you always dreamed it would, right?

One couple found out the hard way that even the best-laid plans can go awry when their wedding celebrant decided to go off-script at the most crucial part of the ceremony. Instead of the traditional vows culminating in “you may now kiss the bride”, the celebrant felt it appropriate to inject a misguided musical number right in the middle of the important bits. And it is a bit hilarious, we have to say.

The bride, Olivia Mancuso, uploaded her disastrous ceremony to TikTok before it was shared on Reddit. Speaking at the beginning of her video, she explains briefly what occurred on her big day: “So, me and my husband’s minister went off-script during our ceremony and then this happened…”

Speaking before her shockingly awful outburst, the celebrant showed proof that her heart was in the right place, even if her judgement was not.

“Hallelujah has been used for centuries to celebrate the beautiful union, and this will be short. From my heart to yours, here you go.”

She then commences caterwauling a sound that appears to vaguely resemble Leonard Cohen’s song Hallelujah.

“She literally went on this whole speech about how specific I’d planned our script with her and then proceeded to go completely rogue,” Olivia explained. “We were mad for a second, but honestly it’s just hilarious.”

“I was looking at Olivia’s face and I was like ‘She’s going to be so f***ing pissed off!'” husband Fred added.

It is reported that the celebrant retired immediately after their wedding.
