Dad Chops Off Daughter’s Hair After She Got Blonde Highlights!
A mum was left horrified recently after her daughter returned from a visit to her dad’s sporting a very different hairstyle to what she left with.
The youngster, 13 year old Kelsey had just been allowed to get blonde highlights by her mum to celebrate her birthday. So Kelsey along with her mother, Christin Johnson, headed off to the salon for a day of pampering which resulted in the teen getting freshly highlighted hair.
The teen even posed for an after shot on Facebook where she can be seen beaming and proudly showing off her newly dyed locks.
The mum then dropped off her daughter at her dad and step-mum’s house where the unthinkable occurred!
Kalsey’s father was horrified to see the teen’s hair dyed and decided to teach her a lesson by forcing her to get an extremely short pixie haircut!
The angry mum returned to Facebook to post a set of new set of photos which sparked outrage across the country.
“This is what my daughter looked like Sunday when I took her home and the other two pics is what happened today before she was brought to me… all over me having highlights put in her hair for her birthday!”
Kelsey’s long highlighted hair had suddenly been chopped off. Instead, she had a short pixie cut with choppy shaved sides.
Her father and stepmother reportedly cut off her hair as punishment for getting the highlights. “Actions have consequences,” they told her.
So humiliated and upset was Kelsey that in one of the photos she refused to even show her face.
Readers were outraged by the father’s humiliating decision to cut Kelsey’s hair in an effort to punish her.
The couple have since been served their own dose of karma as the Wood County Job and Family Services department have started an investigation. The father and step mum, who both work as firefighters, have apparently been suspended and put on administrative leave.
In a bid to make her daughter feel better, mum Christin, took her daughter to the Lady Jane’s salon where the kindhearted staff fitted the teen with the wig of her choice.
“I’d like to thank the ladies… for making my baby feel more like herself! We truly appreciate you ladies so much!”

Are you serious get over it! It’s hair! It’s grows back! Mine was cut short too multiple times for having the wrong letter on a piece of paper or any other silly reason. Coincidence my father was a fireman too lol. I’m outraged at people being outraged. Watch more or less lifetime if you want to be outraged. What a joke
