Guest Arrives at Wedding With 10 Tupperware Containers And Proceeds To Fill Them With Food From The Buffet!

A bride was shocked to see one of her guests shamelessly filling up her Tupperware with food and sweets from the buffet table recently. To make matters worse the gift she gave to the bride and groom was a complete slap in the face.

Sharing her story on Reddit, the woman revealed how the guest arrived at the wedding reception prepared for the food haul with 10 Tupperware containers. And she wasn’t even a close friend or relative.

With everyone watching, the Tupperware woman filled up her containers with food from the buffet as well as the dessert table. She also managed to take home a few bottles of beer as well as the table centrepiece.

To make matters worse, the bride discovered a $5.00 note as a gift to the couple. Can you believe it?! $5.00 wouldn’t even cover the cost of one of the cupcakes she took home!

In the Reddit post, the furious bride said the guest was the daughter of her dad’s best friend but they really had no friendships themselves.

“My husband and I had a very small wedding ceremony and reception, probably about 25 people were invited,” she said. “Only close family and a handful of friends.”

“I invited my dad’s best friend so he’d have someone to socialise with, other than my mum (since they literally spent 24/7 with each other). Plus his friend has always been good to me. Anyway, a few days before the wedding, my dad’s friend asked him if it’s okay if his daughter and her husband came and I didn’t have a problem with it.

“So she shows up, without her husband, but with about 10 Tupperware containers. TO TAKE FOOD. Not even kidding! We had a buffet style wedding and we had a cookie table. She loaded up seven Tupperware containers with food to take home, took about three containers of homemade cookies, a couple of bottles of beer and most of the centrepieces.

“I didn’t notice any of this, because I was too busy with the whole wedding – but my dad told me about it the next day. “

The next day when the bride opened up the wedding gifts, she discovered exactly how ‘tight’ this guest was.

“And when we opened up our ‘gift’ from her, she gave us $5. Not even kidding. A $5 bill,” she said.

“Before anyone asks, she’s not poor by any stretch of the imagination. She’s probably better off than I am and I’m assuming it’s because she just freeloads off anyone and everyone she can! But seriously, who does this?”

Who does this indeed! Unbelievable!!
