Jason Donovan Is Still a Very Good Neighbour as He Fights House Fire at 4am in His Undies

In breaking news out of the UK today, Jason Donovan has proven his ultimate neighbourliness while fighting a house fire at 4am wearing nothing but his undies.

This is not the sort of information we needed, but certainly the information we deserve.

Firefighters are trained to expect the unexpected but seeing Jason Donovan in his Reg Grundys tackling a fire was certainly a surprise for the Kensington crew attending to the electrical blaze in the middle of the night.

Officers called to Notting Hill, London came across the Aussie actor and singer tackling the fire with an extinguisher. Donovan, 51, who lives across the road spotted the flames from his home.

Ahh, that could be anyone, I hear you think. Well think again my friends, I have receipts.

Watch manager Thomas Wolfe explained: “When we arrived a gentleman was tackling the fire using a fire extinguisher. We took over from him and quickly dealt with the blaze.

“It soon transpired that it was Jason Donovan who noticed the fire from his property over the road.”

The fire was located in the side passage next to a house and was believed to have been caused by a fault in electrical cabling.

The fire was under control within twenty minutes. When asked if they would give Mr Donovan a commendation, Thomas quipped:

“He looks good for his age. As one of the firefighters said to the resident, ‘everyone needs good neighbours’”.

Indeed.
