Kmart Recalls Girl’s Leggings Following Choking Hazard Risk!

Kmart Recalls Girl’s Leggings Following Choking Hazard Risk!

A pair of Kmart leggings have been urgently recalled following fears they pose a choking risk for young children and babies.

Called the “Girls 2Pk Organic Roll Waist Leggings” they feature an elastic waist and come in sizes from 00000 – 2. The leggings in question would have been purchased between February 4 2020 and 3 July 3 2020. If you have bought these items they must be returned to any Kmart store immediately for a full refund. The website states the leggings are priced at $10.00 with the style number 147535.

The choking concerns identified by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) come from two buttons sewn on each ankle. Although decorative and not functional, these buttons could potentially be pulled off by a child and swallowed.
