Man Makes ‘Disgusting’ Engagement Ring from a Year of Fingernail Clippings
In a move that is sure to make any woman swoon with happiness and/or disgust, a man has fashioned a unique engagement ring out of his own fingernail clippings.
Honestly, the only thing we can think of that might be worse is if he had used his toenail clippings. Perhaps he’s saving those for a wedding ring?
The anonymous would-be groom shared his DIwhy creation on Youtube where it was picked up by someone over on Twitter and now we can all share in the gross insanity forevermore.
“Need a low-budget ring?” the video starts by saying. Not that much, mate. Not that much.
Please enjoy this short clip (tee hee!) of the making of this awful ring:

Is this not the exact face you are pulling right now?
I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that nobody wants that ring. It “didn’t fit” his girlfriend despite being custom made for her? Yeah, nobody’s buying that.
So just to recap, old mate collects his fingernail clippings for 12 months and pops them in the coffee grinder to grind them into a fine powder.
The ground fingernails were then mixed with water and made into a disgusting paste. The powder was then compressed inside a bolt, placed in the oven for 90 minutes, and the subsequent clay-like substance squeezed into a diamond mould to form a “jewel”.
The video, which culminated with the dull black jewel being added to a band, left people reeling in horror when it was subsequently shared on Twitter.
We can only imagine the reaction of his girlfriend when presented with it and told the backstory. shudder
Run, girl!
