Mum Shares Her Horror and Good Humour After Her Son Finds Electric Razor and Shaves off His and Siblings’ Hair
It’s bound to happen at some point in our children’s lives. The bizarre urge to cut your own hair must be a strong one because so many young children opt to do it at least once when they are little! Most recently we covered a story about a little girl who went to her nanna’s house only to come home with a surprise mullet, but this story is just a little bit worse and a little bit funnier.
A mum from Texas has shared the horror that she felt when she discovered that her son had shaved not only his own head, but parts of his two younger siblings’ heads after he found an electric razor.
Stephanie Plucknette posted a series of clips to her Instagram story, showing little Teddy and his younger sister Eloise in the aftermath of the cut. Her brother Ian Hagadorn shared the footage on Twitter, writing: ‘Y’all, my nephew found the electric shaver and went wild.’ The post has been liked more than 300,000 times.
As she films her discovery in real time, Teddy can be seen with huge patches of hair missing on the top of his head and, while at first Eloise looks to have escaped unscathed, well, watch the video:

Oh lordy, she’s handling this with so much calmness and grace! And tears, a lot of tears too. We can empathise with her on this one, that’s for sure.
So just to recap, here’s what Teddy, Eloise and Freddy looked like before Teddy’s super fun group makeover:

We’re not sure how Stephanie could possibly save Eloise’s piggy tails so we are assuming she’s sporting the same hairstyle as her brothers.
Buzz cuts for everyone!
As Stephanie tearfully says, “it’s hair, it’s gonna grow back and mummy’s okay”. And she’s right, it will.
