Mum Slammed For Sharing Image Of Her Baby Wearing Fake Nails!
A woman has been slammed online for sharing an image of her baby sporting some rather long and trashy fake nails.
The photo was posted on the Reddit forum r/Trashy and showed off tiny fingers with fake long nails complete with rhinestones and the Louis Vuitton logo.
T…A…C…K…Y!
Commenters were horrified by the length of the nails and the inappropriate nature of the image.
Here’s what they had to say: “So, when my kid was about 6 months, he got his entire finger under my eyelid before I could move away. This picture terrifies me.”
“I’m concerned this baby will poke her eye out,” someone else added.
“The obscenity. A baby….” another user wrote.
“Looks like someone just having fun with their kid,” one person commented.
“They’re temporary press on nails, probably just for a silly pic, if mum does nails,” someone else suggested.
“As long as they were stuck on with an adhesive tab (like a STICKER), I don’t see anything wrong with taking a picture in them to be silly or play dress up,” another chimed in.
“This is how your child gets hurt. Has this person never been around an infant before? The poke and prod every hole and orifice on their body.”
Ouch! Now that’s reason enough to keep babies away from sharp talons like those! But all in all people thought the mum was just having a bit of fun with her baby while in lockdown. The subreddit group r/Trashy has over 2 million members and is described as a place for “trashy stories, trashy glamour, all things fake, plastic and downright trashy.”
Alright then.
