Baby News for Michael Phelps and Fiancee Nicole Johnson
Michael Phelps announced via Instagram on Wednesday that he and fiancee Nicole Johnson are set to welcome their first child — a baby boy!
“We found out eight weeks ago that we were expecting,” the Olympian, 30, captioned a pic of himself holding a tiny swim suit over Johnson’s pregnant belly. “Today we’re over 12 weeks and it looks like we’re having a boy! #babymp #lifeabouttochange #mpswim @djnolan5”
The 22-time medalist got engaged to Johnson, 29, back in February.
Recently, Phelps opened up to Sports Illustrated about attending rehab following two DUI arrests, and how it had changed him for the better.
“Haven’t had a single sip and will not have a sip,” he exclaimed on Tuesday. “I worked, recovered, slept, and took care of myself more than I ever had.”
