One morning I opened my emails to find I had been contacted by a couple of very talented ladies, I was really excited as their online store is superb, it’s fun, fresh, bright and best of all full of exquisite and well priced jewellery for little girls – Called Dawn & Deepa.  Dawn & Deepa was founded by two friends who share a love for children and a fondness towards all things pretty, especially jewellery…..they had been down and travelled that career path where you are in a high position, run you around all day and work very hard.

Dawn Bakun did her 15-year career in PR and marketing stint and the beautiful Deepa went on and became educated as an engineer! Then, like most mums they would come home each day and look after their families…..whoa slow down….Things had to change and so they did……………..Their online site is just gorgeous.

Deepa’s dad once told her that he’d always wanted to own a jewellery company, so in some way she felt it was always meant to be, to create Dawn & Deepa.  One thing is for sure, with this company, Deepa feels she has finally found her balance.  For Dawn…Purchasing jewelry since the age of 5, she has proudly owned everything from mood rings to ankle bracelets, pearl chokers to cocktail rings. Her most recent obsession includes a collection of chandelier earrings.

Dawn & Deepa have a delightful collection for little girls ranging from rings, necklaces, bangles and bracelets. I have had the absolute pleasure of viewing a sterling silver ring.  Each piece of jewellery is made out of sterling silver.  The ring collection has a very earth and nature feel about it, with dragonflies, The Beautiful Buttercup ring which has a blossoming flower with a stunning twist in the rings design. Sparkly crystal cubic zirconium stone. Available in sizes 3, 4 and 5.  It looks just looks gorgeous on my daughter Imy, she’s 9 and wears a size 5 and has been wearing it everyday day DAWN!!!

The packaging was something that really just made my day….the ring came in a white slick box, delicately wrapped, then inside that you have the little brushed metal/steel box, so very modern and chic.  Inside was the superb little ring in its own drawstring pouch, sitting on a cushion and there was also a little note on how to measure your ring size with holes to help you.  It has all been so beautifully done and so well thought out.  Any little girl would love getting one of these keepsakes.  Have a look at the dragonfly ring….The necklaces are something quite spectacular and very special.  I know any little girl will adore these beautiful pieces which are so unique compared to anything I have seen for quite sometime. The Heart is dipped in Raspberry Sorbet enamel. The necklace and pendant made are from sterling silver and have a marvellous cluster effect.  You can also choose from sterling silver without any enamel at all….
