Parents Receive Funniest and Most Relatable Kid’s Party Invitation Ever

Parents Receive Funniest and Most Relatable Kid’s Party Invitation Ever

If you feel like kid’s birthday parties are getting out of hand these days, then you HAVE TO read this invitation a fellow mum shared. It’s funny, it’s relatable and the kid will 100 percent be attending!

I’m sure we’ve all attended those kid’s parties where everything is matching and the food is catered for by some high end restaurant, meanwhile the entertainment includes blow up jumping castles and donut making stations. Totally nothing wrong with them if that’s your vibe, but what if it’s not?

One mum, Nat, shared an invitation her child got to attend a classmate’s birthday and she loved it so much she shared it for all her followers on TikTok.

It read: “Evan, you are invited to [Insert Child’s Name Here] fifth birthday party. This event is brought to you by Pinterest Fails and the Dollar Store, so please set your expectations appropriately.”

“As requested, the theme will be unicorns but with rainbows and maybe bats but they should be princesses and also mini and we need dancing lights so dress accordingly.”

“Please pack a bathing suit, sunscreen, etc. in case your sweet baby angels decide our original plan sucks and the pool would be a better time.”

The video has reached nearly five million views and 699.9k likes, which is clearly a reflection of how relatable it is.

“This is incredible. It’s what we’re all thinking when hosting kids’ parties,” one comment said.

Nat replied: “They said the quiet part out loud!!!”

Another poster added, “Lol OMG those parents are the best.”

“I’m glad a parent is finally lowering the standards/expectations because I’m done with these Pinterest/IG-inspired kid parties,” someone else wrote.

Nat made a follow-up video, saying, “I am calling for the official end of these highly-curated, highly-perfected children’s birthday parties. I absolutely will be posting a follow-up and I will bring some ‘adult juice’ to share. I’ve also never met this mum and I’m super super super excited. I think we’re gonna hit it off like besties right from day one. And if you have any ideas on what I should wear for the ‘rainbow princess mini bats dancing lights’ theme, please let me know…”

Love this so much…hahaha!
