Sugar-Free Beanies Flavoured Coffee is Coming to Australia (Plus Win Some Before it Hits The Shelves)

Sugar-Free Beanies Flavoured Coffee is Coming to Australia

One of the perks of being a blogger is being given opportunities to try new products and share my thoughts about them. Don’t get me wrong, not everything that arrives on my doorstep is exciting or worthy of mentioning, but occasionally I do get gifted products that I can’t help but rave about!

If you follow my Jolene’s Mumbo Jumbo Facebook page, you may already know that almost a fortnight ago I was sent a selection of Beanies Flavoured Coffee to try!

Decisions! Decisions!
Which one would you go for?
#gifted (at just 2 calories a cup there’s no reason not to work my way through taste testing all of them today! Ha!)

FYI, chocolates, coffee, wine, and beauty products are ALWAYS gratefully received!

If you’ve never heard of them, that’s because they are yet to hit Australian shelves (from the UK)…but rest assured they are on their way…which believe me is good news…VERY good news!

As you may know, I’ve been on a bit of a health kick lately, exercising to combat anxiety and generally trying to live a healthier lifestyle.  (Goodbye Tuesday night wind-down glasses of Savy -B). BUT I do have a massive sweet tooth, so if I can meet that craving without ingesting a trillion calories, you’d better believe that I’m ALL OVER IT!

Beanies flavoured coffee is sugar-free, sweetener free, alcohol-free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. It is literally just coffee and flavouring, with absolutely no nasty chemicals or anything added. If that’s not enough to get you excited, how about this…a cup of Beanies is on average less than 2 calories per cup.  Of course, you can add a few more calories to that if you are drinking it with milk.

So when it comes to that 3pm lull, instead of sniffing around in the pantry looking for a sugar-hit to keep me going until dinner time, I’ve been enjoying a cup of beanies.  (Actually, I’ve been starting the day with one too, because they taste and smell AH-MAZ-ING!)

According to the Beanies website there is a science behind why this coffee containing absolutely no sugar can satiate my sugar craving.

Your sensory cells for taste and aroma respond to the sweetness of the flavours and although they contain no derivatives such as dextrose, fructose, lactose or syrups the receptors tell the brain that the product must surely contain sugar.

Therefore when you taste our coffee you in fact smell the familiar flavour notes and your brain is automatically tricked into thinking the drink is sweet. Clever eh!’

I know what you’re thinking.  “Just hurry up and tell us what flavours they come in, would you?”
