Bride-To-Be Demands Guests Spend at Least $400 or More From Wedding Registry

Bride-To-Be Demands Guests Spend at Least $400 or More From Wedding Registry

Wedding registries are generally designed to make everyone’s lives easier. There’s nothing worse than buying a completely useless gift for a couple or something they already have. But one woman has taken things too far by asking for designer clothes, kitchen tiles and even cars. To make matters worse, she has demanded each guest spend a minimum of $400 for their gift. Is this a bit rich or what?

A wedding guest shared the bride’s demands on popular subreddit r/ChoosingBeggars after receiving the unbelievable message. The bride provided a detailed lists of items that she felt would be acceptable wedding gifts, each of them with a price tag of $400 or more.

The message to her guests shared on Facebook starts off simply enough by reminding guests to RSVP for the big day, but quickly spirals into a list of wedding gifts she’d like. However unlike other registries where the spend amount starts small this one has a minimum spend of $400.00!

In addition to that, the Bridezilla also specifies which stores the gifts must come from and if anyone deviates from the chosen ones they must consult with her first. Unbelievable!

No joke, this letter reads more like a ‘wish list’ than a wedding registry. Imagine demanding the amount of money your wedding guests have to spend to attend your nuptials.

Plus the fact that she’s used capital letters to make a point of her demands is definitely giving us scary vibes. Who is this entitled woman anyway??

Commenters on Reddit quickly sided with the wedding guest telling them to ditch the wedding and save themselves $400.

“I’d just tell her straight up that her behavior is reprehensible and I don’t want to come. Or more likely, I’d ask her fiancé if he’d seen the post and that it’s why I’m not coming,” wrote one.

“Lol, ‘first come, first serve’ as if people would be fighting over each other’s to buy her gifts,” added another.

”The most unbelievable thing I’ve read in my life,” said one person.

“I’d turn up but gift her the cheapest toaster I could find,” another wrote.

”I liked the ‘anything in relation to my car’ bit — I’d give her a coupon for an oil change!”

I know we’re all dying to find out what those 38 comments on the Facebook message said but we’ll never know as they weren’t revealed in the Reddit post. But one thing is definitely for sure- that wedding party may end up having a few less guests than she first thought!
