Woman Left in Tears After Her Lip Tattoo Goes Horribly Wrong

A devastated woman has been left in tears after seeing the results of her disastrous lip tattoo leaving people questioning why she didn’t put a stop to it in the first place.

Wilma Hägglund was keen on getting the word MEOW tattooed on the inside of her lip, a place where the tattoo would remain hidden unless she intended to show it off. Unfortunately for the young Swedish woman, her tattoo artist screwed up.

Sharing her tale of woe with the TikTok community, Wilma uploaded a photo of her crying with her hand over her mouth, with a caption that roughly translates to: “he tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth”.

Yes, that is rather unfortunate for poor Wilma.

But how could she not notice that the artist was tattooing the outside of her lip?

The viral video has amassed more than 3 million views to date, with many posing that very question.

One person wrote “how could you not notice while he was doing it” with crying emojis, while another said, “there’s just no way unless you were drunk or your tattoo artist”.

Another asked plenty of questions: “….were you passed out during? How do you not feel the placement difference? Didn’t you have to hold your lip open??? HOW girl how ??”.

Wilma has since posted a follow-up video to her page, revealing that she has undergone laser treatment in an attempt to remove the misplaced ink.

Plenty of people continued to ask whether Wilma had double-checked the stencil placement before the artist began tattooing her lip, but we are left wondering as Wilma has not provided any answers.

Still, she looks much happier at her first laser session so we’re going to go ahead and consider this traumatic incident resolved.
