Mum Gets A Hilarious Surprise When Ordering Sexy Santa Outfit Online!
A mum who recently ordered an outfit online was left sorely disappointed when it finally arrived at her door. Let’s be honest, it’s always a gamble when you shop online, isn’t it? I remember purchasing a one shoulder dress a little while back and when it arrived I was shocked to discover there was no room to put my left boob. True story!
Leading up to the silly season Lisa Williamson thought she’d order a cute santa outfit from e-bay to wear to her pole dancing class. The outfit she picked was red and featured a faux fur trim and hood. It looked sexy in the pic so Lisa assumed it would look just as cute on her! Plus it was only $10 including postage!
As soon as the delivery arrived and Lisa pulled the outfit out of the box she realised something was very, very wrong. The description had initially said it was good quality however once she held it in her hands, Lisa realised it was “cheap and frumpy”.
And that’s not all. The main issue was with the sizing- this was definitely not a ‘one size fits all’ like the site had advertised.
Lisa, 28, decided to try it on anyway and took some photos to send to her friends in hopes of entertaining them with the ill fitting garment. “When your order arrives online and it’s nothing like you expected. Been looking forward to this for ages – but only thing that’s the same is the colour,” she wrote alongside the hilarious pic.
The mum of two, who has an 8 and 2 year old says, “I wanted to get the outfit for a Christmassy pole dancing workshop where I’d be learning a pole routine – but what i got looked cheap and frumpy.
“It said it was one size only and apparently a regular. I’m a size 8-10, so I just assumed it wouldn’t be too small and I never really read the description properly, but going by the sizing it should have fit me fine.
“When I opened it up I instantly saw it was rubbish quality and I was a bit gutted because I’d been looking forward to getting it. Still, I thought I’d try it on anyway and found it hilarious how it looked.
“After that I took pictures and sent them to my friend Georgie, who told me I should post them on Facebook so I did to give other people a laugh.”
The photo has since done the rounds on Facebook with many relating to the cheap version of the outfit Lisa received.
Some however pointed out that the reason the Santa suit looked so different was because of the size difference between Lisa and the model.
“The majority of people who have seen and commented on my posts have found it funny and tagged their friends, a few said there’s no difference apart from the hood and some saying I need to get a bigger size or that it’s because of the shape of my body.
“Going by the description it should have been a comfy fit and the description even says ‘The costume is very good quality and looks great on.’
“But I’ve checked the measurements and they’re all wrong – I’d still shop online, but I’d be more careful with eBay.”
Since the photo went viral, the e-bay seller has agreed to refund Lisa $5 as well as letting her keep the outfit. Ho ho ho…Merry Christmas Lisa!
