Photographer Turns Real-Life Animals into Cubed Creatures From Minecraft!

Photographer Turns Real-Life Animals into Cubed Creatures From Minecraft!

Minecraft fans and animal lovers alike are going crazy over one photo retoucher’s epic skills of turning cute furry animals into textured cubes.

Aditya Aryanto’s photo ideas came from the popular computer game MINECRAFT where players build things out of textured cubes in an ever expanding 3D world.

The photographer applied his photoshop skills to create a series called MINECRAFT IN REAL LIFE (or ANICUBE) where he uses stock images of creatures like cats, polar bears and tigers and turns them into digital looking animals instead.

Aryanto’s Minecraft animals are so gorgeous to look at and truly evoke a sense of the extraordinary in ordinary situations. An excellent fusion of the real and digital worlds merging into one!

If you’re wondering how Aryanto created the creatures it was all done using the Liquify feature on Photoshop. The program allows the user to stretch and compact soft shapes into rigid anicubes.

Check out all the adorable animals below. Which one’s your fave? Personally we can’t go past the dog! Sooo cute!
