Salami Roses Are the Latest Trend in Charcuterie Boards – Here’s How to Make Them!

Charcuterie boards have exploded in popularity over the last few years as we’re all about the bougie entertainer lifestyle. Slices of cabanossi, cubes of cheese, and a box of Jatz just will not cut it these days. Even if you do spring for a brand name dip to go with. And so these delightful salami roses have entered our lives and made them all the better for it.

Pushing aside the uneasy feeling of someone else handling our food so much, and the thought that perhaps the wine glasses hadn’t been washed thoroughly before the party, these roses add just a little extra something to our platters that we can’t resist.

In the past, people have fashioned salami rounds into vague coiled shapes intended to look like rosebuds, but they aren’t the lovely salami roses of our modern charcuterie platters, oh no. These new ones are much more realistic, as far as flowers made from cured meat products go.

Again, naff:

Elegant:

So, the next time you find yourself creating an amazing platter of cured meats, delicious cheeses, fruits, olives, dips, and crackers for your cherished guests, make sure your salami roses are magically elegant instead of toothpicky and naff. Be sure to handle the meat as much as you can, and remember to wash your stemware prior to the guests’ arrival.

We hope that this meat flower tutorial has met all of your high expectations in this article. Thank you for coming on this journey with us.
