Woman Surprises Guests At Own Baby Shower By Arriving With Her Newborn

A new mum recently surprised guests at her own baby shower by arriving with her new born baby who decided to make an early appearance. The video of the shocked guests is hilarious, especially the woman who was laughing at the others who thought the baby was ‘real!’ So funny!

Becky Lynne, shared a video to TikTok showing the moment she turned up to her baby shower with her baby. She captioned the post, “When your baby comes early so you surprise everyone at your baby shower and they think you’re carrying a doll.”

The video starts with Becky’s friend rounding up all the guests for her arrival. She jokingly says, “This is what happens when you don’t turn up to your baby shower early.”

She then asks everyone to count down for Becky’s arrival. She warns them not to go too loud in case she ‘pops.’

“Don’t go too loud,” she says, “because obviously, we don’t want her ‘popping’.”

After a big “3, 2, 1…” Becky is seen coming around the corner with her newborn baby in her arms as everyone cheers. Hilariously though, only a couple have realised she’s holding a real baby and not a doll.

“It’s not real” says one person, while others just stare in shock.

The funniest part is the sceptical woman who is laughing at everyone else for thinking the ‘baby’ is real. Seems the jokes on her though! When she realises it’s not a doll after all she asks the friend filming how long she’d known.

“I only found out yesterday,” she responds as everyone crowds around to see baby and congratulate mum.

Commenters on TikTok loved the video and were quick to give their opinions on the event.

“That was wholesome but the kid shaking her mum took me out,” said one.

Another added, “The woman laughing at the other one for thinking it was a real baby!”

“She gets all my respect and gratitude for having a party with loads of people straight from having a baby,” said another. “I became a hermit for days.”

One said, “The guy in the blue T-shirt is a total vibe. Jaw hit the floor literally.”

While one commenter questioned the whole timing of the baby shower being so close to her due date.

“This is why I don’t understand why people have baby showers a week before they give birth,” they said. “I thought it was like a six-month thing.”

Becky explained that by saying, “It was the only date I could do we knew it was risky.”
