Kim Kardashian’s Fragrance Line Has Been Banned From Australia!
Kim Kardashian West reportedly made $13 million in one day from sales of her KKW Beauty Perfume line last week.
Kardashian West released three perfumes – Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus – which were rumoured to have made $1.3 million alone within the first hour.
Only 300,000 bottles of the fragrance were made for the first run and those sold out within a week of launching. The crystal inspired bottles are available in two sizes, 75ml for USD$60 and 30ml for $USD35.
However, not everything is rosy! The KKW business empire has hit a slight bump in the road with reports the fragrances have been banned from Australia.
According to TMZ, KKW Beauty’s Crystal Gardenia perfume line has been labelled a “flammable/hazardous material” due to its high alcohol content. Therefore, it is unable to be shipped as far as Australia and New Zealand.
The company is in the process of issuing refunds to all customers from Australia who purchased any of the fragrances. The website will soon be updated with blackout zones.
