How to Make a Pokemon Go Hat

Pokémon Hat

Size: teenager or ladies

You only need to learn one stitch to make this simple Pokémon hat!

What you need:

• One ball of red yarn
• One ball of white yarn and one ball of black yarn
• I size 5mm crochet hook

I wanted to make this hat thick and chunky so I used two strands of yarn together.

ss slip stitch

sc single crochet

dc double crochet

Using two strands of he red yarn make a magic circle.

Secure with a single chain (sc)

ROW 1

Chain two.

Double crochet (dc) into the magic circle X10

Slip stitch (ss)into chain on the top of stitch 1

ROW 2

Chain 2

2x dc into each chain around the circle ss into 1^st chain

ROW 3

Chain 2

2X dc into 1^st stitch

1dc into next then repeat pattern all around the circle

ss into 1^st chain

ROW 4

Chain 2

2x dc into 1st chain

1x dc into next 2 chains

repeat pattern all around the circle

ss into 1^st chain

ROW 5

Chain 2

2x dc into 1^st chain

1x dc into next 3 chains

repeat pattern all around circle

ss into 1^st

ROW 6

Chain 2

2x dc into 1^st chain

1x dc into next 4 chains

repeat pattern all around circle

ss into 1^st

ROW 7

Chain 2

2x dc into 1^st chain

1x dc into next 5 chains

repeat pattern all around circle

ss into 1^st

ROW 8 and 9

Chain 2

1x dc into each stitch

ss into 1^st chain.

Row 10 and 11

Change colour to use 2x strands of black

Chain 2

1x dc into each stitch

ss into 1^st chain

Row 12-16

Change colour to 2x strands of white yarn

Chain 2

1x dc into each stitch

ss into 1^st chain

pul yarn through and weave in ends

Black circle

Using two strands of black yarn make a magic circle

ROW 1

Chain two.

Double crochet (dc) into the magic circle X10

Slip stitch (ss)into chain on the top of stitch 1

ROW 2

Chain 2

2x dc into each chain around the circle ss into 1^st chain

ROW 3

Chain 2

2x dc into each chain around the circle ss into 1^st chain

Yarn off

Repeat in white thread for the white circle but only for two rounds

Sew the black circle onto the band of black on the hat so that the circle is half way on both sides of the band

Sew the white circle onto the centre of the black circle.

Now go and catch ‘em all
