Beston’s Spiced Butternut Pumpkin Recipe

Beston’s sweet butternut pumpkin – roasted in the oven with a drizzle of honey and then topped with a delicious mixture of spices will melt in your mouth!

Ingredients

1 Beston’s Market Farm Fresh butternut pumpkin
olive oil to drizzle
sea salt & cracked black pepper
honey to drizzle
1 ½ tsp sesame seeds
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground paprika
½ tsp dried oregano

Method

Pre-heat oven to 180C. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.

Slice the pumpkin in half length-wise and drizzle with olive oil, season with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Lay the pumpkin flesh side down onto the tray and bake for 20 minutes.

Carefully turn the pumpkin over and drizzle with honey and bake for another 20 minutes or until fork tender.

Mix the spices together in a small bowl. Sprinkle over the cooked pumpkin.

Serve.
