TikTok User Explains Why We Are Wiping Our Bums Wrong in Viral Video

TikTok User Explains Why We Are Wiping Our Bums Wrong in Viral Video

Have you ever paused to think that maybe you have been wiping your bum the wrong way? How do you know if you’ve been doing it right? It’s been a long time since we were first taught how to wipe, maybe there is a new and better way nowadays?

Apparently, the answer is yes! According to this viral Tiktol clip, there is a specific technique to master if we want to wipe our bums effectively.

“Are you wiping 101 times to get clean after a poo?” Georgia, a pelvic floor specialist from the wellness brand Bien Australia captioned the clip, which has been viewed more than four and a half million times.

Georgia covers a lot of ground in her video, from faecal smearing to stools hanging around the entrance to your anus. In the end, though, she reveals that the answer to our over-wiping problems stems from not squeezing our pelvic floor muscles enough to push out the remaining poop!

“I remember when this was a dance app,” wrote one of the top replies to the informative post.

“My problem is I’m as hairy as Chewbacca,” quipped another user. “It’s like wiping peanut butter off a Persian rug.”

“This is the best educational video I’ve seen on TikTok, thank you!!” offered someone else.

I’ve been waiting a long time to be able to use this gif in an article, and I am delighted that today is that day.

We hope this new bum-wiping and toilet paper-saving technique will enrich your life. We only regret that this hack had not been around in the height of the pandemic.
