Mondocherry was a site that I came across a few weeks ago, I was blown away by their work.  I knew that I just had get one, firstly becasue I loved the look and then so I could see it up close as they looked so beautiful.  Honestly they are the most creative and inspirational art works for children and adults-the family, that I have seen around.  As soon as you gaze across the pages of choice I am know the desire to have one of the creative designs for yourself will be very tempting.

Mondocherry is the brilliant creation of two sisters and their Mum. They decided to form Mondocherry in order to share what they enjoy making all of us.  All three of these talented ladies love to create with beautiful fabrics and gorgeous papers.  Each have such a flair for making inspirational artworks out of simple wares, such as using of all things discarded children’s books and turning them into amazing designs that will fit into any part of your home.  

When Clare and Joy find textiles that capture their attention these items will be used in their work, you will find Liberty print buttons, linen hand cut flowers and Paper hand cut Butterflies.  Usually stitching beads and sequins to add texture all by hand.  The tiny little stitches that I can on Imy’s pink & red themed Butterfly art  is just incredible, the countless hours and passion shows throughout their work, it takes a very patient person to do this and requires a great eye for all of the colour combinations.  You can choose from the Mondocherry site an already made up piece of art or you can request certain colours to blend in with your surrounds.
