Woman Takes Inspiration Photo To Her Manicurist But Ends Up With Totally Different Result

You know those posts of people sharing their ‘this is what I asked for’ versus ‘this is what I got’ photos? Well this woman’s manicure right before her engagement is the stuff nightmares are made of! Who even knew you could stuff up a French manicure this badly!

Araceli, who shared her video on TikTok under the username @shesaraceli, where she shared a photo of the French manicure she asked for for her engagement announcement as well as the after shot which looks nothing like what she wanted. Instead of long elegant nails Araceli ended up with a stubby looking manicure which she described as Humpty Dumpty nails.

The bride to be shared the manicure fail with the caption: ‘The worst thing ever! Especially for my engagement announcement 🥺💔’. The clip features an audio of her saying: “I’m literally crying over my nails right now, cause they’re so ugly. Oh my god ok, this is what I wanted, and this is what I got. I went to get my nails done for my engagement announcement. I asked for natural almond French tip nails.

“This is what I got. I call them Humpty Dumpty’s. It’s the worst feeling ever! I went back the next day but they still looked a hot mess. I had to get them fixed by my usual nail tech. Never cheating on her again.”

Lesson learnt the hard way I guess!

The video has had more than 154.9k views with 12.1k likes, 1,230 comments and 1,048 shares. And not surprisingly, the majority of TikTok commenters agreed with how bad the manicure looked.

One person said: “This can’t be real 😳” to which Araceli responded:  “It most definitely is real unfortunately 😭😭”
